Our Mission

At Paudecenar, our mission is to transform financial literacy education in Ghana by providing accessible, practical, and culturally relevant resources that empower individuals to take control of their financial futures.

We believe that financial knowledge should not be a privilege reserved for the few but a fundamental life skill accessible to all. Our goal is to bridge the financial knowledge gap that exists in Ghana's educational system and equip people with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions, regardless of their background or current economic situation.

Our Story

Paudecenar was founded in 2017 by Abena Osei, who recognized a critical gap in financial education in Ghana. After spending years in the banking sector, Abena saw firsthand how a lack of basic financial knowledge was preventing many Ghanaians from achieving financial security despite their hard work and ambition.

What began as community workshops in Kumasi has grown into a comprehensive financial education platform serving thousands of Ghanaians nationwide. Our name "Paudecenar" combines elements from different languages to represent our core belief: that with proper education, everyone can learn to grow financially ("aprende a crecer financieramente" in Spanish).

Today, we've expanded our reach through digital courses, workshops, and partnerships with educational institutions and employers across Ghana, maintaining our commitment to making financial education accessible, practical, and culturally relevant.

Paudecenar Educational Approach

What Our Students Say

"Paudecenar's financial literacy course changed my life. As a small business owner, I was struggling to keep my finances organized and couldn't understand why my business wasn't growing despite good sales. The practical strategies I learned helped me separate my business and personal finances, implement proper record-keeping, and create a sustainable growth plan. My profits have increased by 40% in just six months!"

Kofi A.

Small Business Owner, Accra

"I've always been intimidated by financial topics and felt embarrassed by my lack of knowledge. Paudecenar's approach made these complex concepts accessible and understandable. Their step-by-step guidance helped me create my first budget, start an emergency fund, and begin investing small amounts. The instructors never made me feel judged for my questions, and the Ghanaian-specific examples made everything relatable."

Ama D.

Teacher, Kumasi

"As someone who grew up without any financial education, I was determined to give my children a better start. Paudecenar's family financial literacy workshop taught us practical ways to discuss money matters as a family and involve our children in age-appropriate financial decisions. Now our children understand saving, delayed gratification, and even basic investing concepts that I never learned until adulthood."

Parent & Civil Servant, Tamale
